Painted in Martha's Vinyard on the porch of a 1880's victorian bed and breakfast. A sweet blue bird house hung in the bare branches of an ancient tree right beside the porch. This little fellow, Mon Cheri, was standing guard outside his new home while mama bird was nesting inside. Every now and then he would flit away and come back with soft contributions for her.
